The research stemmed from my interest in wanting to maintain a healthy practice outside of my professional endeavors. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic transpiring during my research, I included my interest in how those in the design community maintain this relationship during this period of high stress. Through these interviews with designers, I found that their experiences with coping are insights into beneficial ways we all can maintain a healthy back and forth relationship with the whole creative process.

Meet Whitney...

Whitney Mokler is a graphic designer living and working in Portland, Oregon. She likes to experiment with color, type, shape, and pattern to create a broad, multidisciplinary body of work that pushes the boundaries of mainstream design.
